How to create a YouTube channel to grow your brand and profit from home
Learning how to create a YouTube channel may seem harder than starting some other social networks. But that's not true!
In addition, YouTube is the most common social platform among adults in the United States. Nearly three-quarters of Americans use the social video site, compared to 69% who use Facebook.
More than half of these users visit YouTube every day.
In fact, YouTube is the second most visited website in the world after Google
With this huge spread, YouTube is an opportunity that your business can't ignore.
How to create a YouTube channel in 10 simple steps:
The first step to profiting from YouTube channels: creating a Google account
If you've already signed in to Gmail, Google Maps, Google Store or any other Google service, you already have an account. In this case, you can go to the next step.
Don't worry about whether the name and email address associated with your current Google Account are appropriate for your brand. The details of your current Google account will not be publicly linked to your YouTube account.
If you don't have a Google Account yet, here's how to get an account.
- Go to google's SAP creation page. You can choose to create a new Gemmell address for your account or use an existing email address.
- Enter your details and click next.
Second step to profit from YouTube channels: create a brand account on YouTube
Your Google account automatically gives you a YouTube account in person. However, to create a YouTube account for your business, you'll need to create a brand account.
Using a personal YouTube account, you'll be the only person who can manage the channel. Your channel will also carry the same name as your Google account, which means you can't use your brand name, just if a personal channel works.
When you create a brand account on YouTube, you can customize your channel for your brand and give access to team members. Here's how to do it.
- Sign in to YouTube using your Google Account details.
- Go to your YouTube channel page. If you haven't created a YouTube channel before, you'll only see your personal account. If you already have an existing brand channel, you'll see it too. To create a new brand channel, click Create a new channel.
- Enter your brand name and click Create.
Now if you go back to your channel page, you'll see both your personal account and your brand account.
Step 3: Add an identity to your brand
Add a work of art to your channel
- Log on to YouTube on your computer. You can only edit your channel photos from a computer, not from a mobile device.
- Click your profile code at the top right of the screen and choose your channel.
- Scroll over the profile picture to show the channel code editing function. Upload a photo and set the crop. Your company logo is a good choice for your channel icon. The recommended image size is 800 × 800 pixels. It will be displayed in 98 × 98 pixels on YouTube.
- Scroll over the logo image to show the technical channel editing function. The recommended image size is 2560 × 1440 pixels. You can preview what your cover image will look like on different devices and adjust the cropping accordingly.
Add links to your YouTube channel logo:
- Sign in to YouTube on your computer, go to your channel and click Channel Customization.
- Click the tab around, then scroll down down to the links.
- Click the pencil icon to add links that will appear above the channel banner image.
- Enter your website information. You can choose how many links to include. If you add links to social channels, they will be referred to as social media icons.
Step 4: Download your first video
Congratulations! I have now created a YouTube channel. It's time to start adding some high-quality content.
- Sign in to your YouTube account.

- Click Publish.
Step 5: Create a YouTube channel structure
Once you post some videos, it's important to start organizing your channel. You don't necessarily want to group all your videos together, or that newer videos always appear first. Think about how you want people to navigate through your YouTube channel, and create a YouTube account structure accordingly.
For example, on Hootsuite's YouTube page, you'll see categories for Hootsuite training, customer stories, product information and social media marketing information.
Dividing our videos into these categories makes it easier to navigate the channel and use content significantly.
You can always change the structure of your channel later, but it's good to build the basic framework when you first start your YouTube channel. You can have up to 10 sections per channel.
The first step is to organize your content into playlists. Each playlist can then become its own section.
- Sign in to YouTube, go to your channel, and click Customize the channel.
- Click the playlists tab.
- Click a new playlist.
- Enter an address for your playlist. It can be up to 150 characters long. Click Create.
- You will be taken to the new playlist screen. Click edit.
- Click Add Videos.
- Click your YouTube videos.
- Select videos that you want to include in your playlist and click Add Videos.
After that, you can use your playlists to create youTube channel sections:
- Sign in to YouTube on your computer, go to your channel and click Channel Customization.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click Add Section.
- From the drop-down "content" menu, choose "Individual Playlist."
- Under "Choose a playlist," select my playlists.
- From the drop-down "Find the playlist" menu, choose the playlist you want to make in its section.
- Click Done.
Step 6: Create a channel trailer
The channel's trailer is a short video that lets you introduce yourself to the new visitors to your channel. Use it to let new viewers know what the channel contains and why they should watch your videos and subscribe to your channel.
This is a channel to talk about cartilage slippage and you'll find the tools used in the channel very simple and depend on sharing the story of the owner of the channel in recovery from pain and how to treat it.
